Art InfoSite evolved over a period of several years of observation of interaction of students and faculty in an art school setting. This included observations in formal studios and also informal environments.

In addition to the direct art school observations, experiences in the art world, including dealing with galleries, and the public, helped me, Robert Terrell, the web designer, and creator of Art InfoSite, to realize the need for Art InfoSite.

The mission of Art InfoSite, is to bring practical and useful information to the working artist, to help him or her streamline their art processes, on a daily basis.
